Because the best things come in neat packages, Escape Compact is back for 2020 with new exterior and interior styling. Offering coachbuilt luxury in a similar size to a panel van with a flexible living space, the range is slightly narrower than the standard Escape for extra versatility and confidence on narrower roads.
An upgraded exterior graphics scheme coordinates with the cab to enhance the streamlined profile, while the interior is revitalised by the stylish new ‘Langholme’ soft furnishing scheme and ‘Aralie Sen’ upper locker doors. A high level of specification is included throughout, from the well-equipped kitchen area and washroom with quality fittings, to Duvalay Duvalite™ mattresses fitted to fixed beds, which can be enhanced by the optional special value Comfort Pack.
Offering Grade 3 classification for heating and thermal insulation, Escape Compact features Truma dual fuel heating with digital programmable controller, and Truma ‘Crash Sensor Mono’ regulator for en route use, keeping everyone cosy whatever the weather.
For relaxing driving, Escape Compact provides excellent cab equipment, including captain’s chairs, air conditioning, DAB radio/MP3 player with Bluetooth and switch-off timing, variable power steering, and a dash mounted holder for a full-width tablet and pocket for smartphone with USB port for charging. Powered by a Fiat Euro 6 2.3l engine, delivering reliable power, all Escape Compact models have a MTPLM of 3300kg and can be driven on a normal Category B driving license.
Built on Swift’s pioneering SMART construction platform with a timberless bodyshell and durable GRP outer skin, Escape Compact boasts outstanding build quality and a 10-year bodyshell warranty.* There’s also Swift Command, allowing you to monitor and control many onboard systems via a 7-inch touchscreen panel and smartphone app, with the option to subscribe to a pre-installed Thatcham Category S7 approved pro-active tracker** for added protection.
