Applications Open For Training Scheme

We’re pleased to announce applications are now open for our Training Scheme. Do you know someone who would make an excellent Service and Maintenance Engineer? We’ll make it happen!

Preston Caravans and Motorhomes is a family run business, and supply some of the UK’s top brands of caravans and motorhomes. We’re a friendly team, and many of our staff have 20+ years industry experience. Our apprenticeship scheme provides the environment and training for the next generation of Service & Maintenance Engineers.

You will be fully trained in mechanical, electrical, gas, plumbing, heating and joinery by working alongside one of our expert engineers and experiencing the industry on manufacturer factory tours.

Once these skills are attained PCM will provide access to a nationally recognised industry certifications.

Practical learning

3 year “hands on” training scheme partnered with Industry trained professionals one on one.

Wages & holiday

We also offer 20% uplift on minimum wage in line with inflation, plus 28 days holiday (including bank holidays and guaranteed time off over Christmas and New Year).

Fully funded

We supply your uniform and safety wear as well as paying for your industry qualifications.

Strong future prospects

Earn your 3 major qualifications, and you can begin a successful career in our onsite workshop.

Great choice of new and used vans, with no pushy sales at all. The whole service team are great and PC&M should be proud to have such a great team. Fantastic service from start to finish, got a brilliant deal on our Swift Basecamp 2. Had the most wonderful and friendly member of sales staff, Tony who handled everything. Pick up and handover was so thorough, and all questions answered by Ryan with some immediate sorts by Paul. When the mirrors on the welcome pack weren't correct Gill from the shop came out with lots of different ones and was so helpful. We honestly can't recommend enough.

I spoke to Katie on the phone who advised me on a suitable awning for a seasonal pitch. She was so helpful and put aside one of my choice until I could call up and collect at the weekend. On arrival I was shown a display model by Gill, who again was very attentive. Awning payed for and collected. Now to put it up at my caravan. Preston Caravans are amazing. I have nothing but admiration for them, and will certainly use them again.

Well, what can I say but from start to finish we had a seamless, professional service. Every member of staff went above and beyond when buying our brand new Sprite Elegance Grande 835 nothing was too much trouble and everyone took their time with you. Would like to mention Chris, Ryan, Gill, Katy, Lisa and Dan it was a pleasure to meet you all. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
