Ukraine Border Journey Begins

And we’re off! Aid collected from Mobberly Methodist Church yesterday, and off on the ferry first thing this morning. A huge thanks again to Stenaline for our free crossing, the staff have been so friendly and helpful. Next stop Holland!

We also have to give a shout out of thanks to Harwich and Dovercourt Funeral Services – our secure parking let us down at the last minute, which is very important given how essential our cargo is! The staff at Walter Craven Funeral Services in Liverpool (who have already given a great donation) jumped to the rescue and called a fellow independent near where we were staying. Harwich and Dovercourt stepped in to open their gates out of hours in the evening and first thing in the morning so our donations were safe. It’s brilliant to see how many independent businesses can pull together for this good cause.

Great choice of new and used vans, with no pushy sales at all. The whole service team are great and PC&M should be proud to have such a great team. Fantastic service from start to finish, got a brilliant deal on our Swift Basecamp 2. Had the most wonderful and friendly member of sales staff, Tony who handled everything. Pick up and handover was so thorough, and all questions answered by Ryan with some immediate sorts by Paul. When the mirrors on the welcome pack weren't correct Gill from the shop came out with lots of different ones and was so helpful. We honestly can't recommend enough.

I spoke to Katie on the phone who advised me on a suitable awning for a seasonal pitch. She was so helpful and put aside one of my choice until I could call up and collect at the weekend. On arrival I was shown a display model by Gill, who again was very attentive. Awning payed for and collected. Now to put it up at my caravan. Preston Caravans are amazing. I have nothing but admiration for them, and will certainly use them again.

Well, what can I say but from start to finish we had a seamless, professional service. Every member of staff went above and beyond when buying our brand new Sprite Elegance Grande 835 nothing was too much trouble and everyone took their time with you. Would like to mention Chris, Ryan, Gill, Katy, Lisa and Dan it was a pleasure to meet you all. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
