UK Is Europe’s Caravanning Capital!

Research from Mintel has confirmed what many of our customers have already suspected, that the British Isles is home to the keenest caravanners in Europe. They assessed the number of nights spent in caravan sites, the number of caravan trips taken, the amount of money spent on renting sites and the number of new touring and motor registrations.

The top 10 European countries:

The United Kingdom
Sweden
France
Switzerland
Denmark
Germany
Slovenia
Netherlands
Belgium
Ireland

Studies also showed that British caravanners spend the most on their touring trips, and love to venture onto the continent. French caravanners, in comparison, are the most likely to stay within their own country.

Fantastic service from start to finish, got a brilliant deal on our Swift Basecamp 2. Had the most wonderful and friendly member of sales staff, Tony who handled everything. Pick up and handover was so thorough, and all questions answered by Ryan with some immediate sorts by Paul. When the mirrors on the welcome pack weren't correct Gill from the shop came out with lots of different ones and was so helpful. We honestly can't recommend enough.

I spoke to Katie on the phone who advised me on a suitable awning for a seasonal pitch. She was so helpful and put aside one of my choice until I could call up and collect at the weekend. On arrival I was shown a display model by Gill, who again was very attentive. Awning payed for and collected. Now to put it up at my caravan. Preston Caravans are amazing. I have nothing but admiration for them, and will certainly use them again.

Well, what can I say but from start to finish we had a seamless, professional service. Every member of staff went above and beyond when buying our brand new Sprite Elegance Grande 835 nothing was too much trouble and everyone took their time with you. Would like to mention Chris, Ryan, Gill, Katy, Lisa and Dan it was a pleasure to meet you all. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.
